Princess Tea Party Workers

Our third annual Princess Tea Party will take place on Saturday, September 5th.  This is our main fundraising event to raise the $2000 we use to sponsor a room for a year at the Ronald McDonald House in Louisville.

We are in need of workers for the event.  First, we need Jr. Beta members to help set-up the afternoon before the event.  We will stay after school on Friday, September 4th until 5pm to set-up.  You will receive 3 service points for helping.

Second, we need Jr. Beta members to work the event.  We will need students to help with carriage rides, fixing hair and doing nails at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, serving sweets and tea, checking people in, and guiding them to the princesses.  Students who work the event will work from 12:30-4:30.  You will receive between 5 and 10 points based on your performance.

Kosair Children's Hospital

While at the Kentucky Jr. Beta Convention in March, our club won a plaque and a $500 scholarship for donating $1000 to Kosair Children's Hospital.  The club collected the money through our annual "Piggies for Preemies" coin challenge.

Ronald McDonald House

Our Jr. Beta Club went to Louisville at the end of March to deliver our $2000 donation to the Ronald McDonald House.  While there, club members were able to donate other items and tour the house.  We love touring the house and being able to see what all of our hard work raising money for them goes towards.  If you want more information on the house, visit www.rmhc.org.
